Lovely lovely love my family

2011 Highlights: Flood! Baby Amelia Blythe Girls Camp New job Sweet Baby James says words! OT School Applications moved... And tons of good times with friends and family fave movies of this year- 3 were super hero movies....1 was a harry potter movie, 2 had ties to JJ Abrahms. song of the year: Who Knows Who Cares by Local Natives (Thanks Phil) book of the year: popcorn- Hunger Games non-popcorn.. well I guess I didn't really read any oops. besides my scriptures. Adam informs me that this a leap year. Very cool. Now he wonders why February is so short? Why not make it an even 30 and take some days off of the 31 months? There must be some explanation for this... He and I had a lot of fun getting presents for people this year. We are also very thankful for everything we received. The best part was being with family so much. I haven't spent 2 weeks with family since I got married 3 years ago. I can't believe that in 6 months we'll be moving somewhere else. It will probably be either Phoenix, Albuquerque, or St. Louis. It will be weird leaving Tucson. I've lived here since high school! That feels like a long time ago. When I first came here it felt pretty weird, being so much like Phoenix and yet not at the same time. I remember explaining to all my east coast friends that not all of AZ was this ugly. But I've come to love it here. I remember the first time I went up Mt Lemmon on a field trip. I was in complete awe. And I remember the first time I really felt like I belonged here, thanks to a few ladies (Mandy, Meagan, Brittany, and Shanae). I love that we can get back together and still feel like best friends (like we did a few weeks ago). Good thing the boys we married get along with each other too!

Anyways, I am kind of sad that christmas vacation is over but I'm excited for what the rest of the year will bring. A lot of changes ahead! I'm so glad Adam is here to go through it together with me. Its hard to remember what it was like back when we were just friends. Or back when we didn't even know each other. It feels like we've always known each other. He's my best friend. I mean who else would get me fudgecicles for our anniversary? Some more pics:
